Allan Industrial Coatings is proud to announce the opening of our new Aquence™ Auto-deposition facility. Aquence™, also known as Autophoretic, is a chemical conversion coating that is applied to any ferrous metal part by immersion.

The non-electric application process allows the Aquence™ to uniformly coat project interiors and complex shapes. This provides corrosion protection inside and out. The top pipes in the picture below detail the coverage possible with Aquence™

Our new facility houses a TTX square slide transfer system. This unique design provides up to twice as many index cycles per hour as compared to a hoist configuration. The system will accommodate a 14' x 6' x 6' part with up to 24 indexes per hour.

Aquence™ is applied directly over clean metal surfaces. There is no phosphate pretreatment or conditioner needed.

Aquence™ is unique among common application methods in its ability to uniformly coat large volumes of densely racked or complex shaped metal parts with fewer process steps and controls. Aquence™ edge coating ability is so superior that it will even coat the smallest of parts. Under extreme magnification, the SEM photo below shows the coating applied to a razor blade.
